This section of our website has been designed to help our citizens to become aware of the threats that are present and protect themselves and families against all hazards. The focus of this information is to identify hazards, how to develop, practice, and maintain emergency plans that reflect what must be done before, during and after disasters. The Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency, a division of the Cherokee Marshal's Office, is dedicated to assisting our citizens in preparing for, responding to and recovering from all types of disasters, both natural and manmade.
